So the One Piece brand has been doing radio broadcasts called Strawhat Space (/Mugiwara Space) where they bring in voice actors to chitchat about the series etc, most of the episodes they've featured just the main cast but they've started bringing in VAs for other characters too (one episode was Mayumi Tanaka/Luffy and Tomokazu Seki/Lucci, another was the OG three admirals etc) This week's broadcast featured Ryuuzaburo Ootomo and Yuriko Yamaguchi as Crocodile and Miss All Sunday respectively

The promotional images for Strawhat Space have been Extremely Adorable and I know I'm a simp but god, this one is so cute

Now unfortunately, while my Japanese listening comprehension is good enough to follow along your average kids anime where the VAs speak clearly and take their turns, yeah, a radio show where the VAs stumble on their words a little and speak over each other is too hard for me to keep up with (not to mention my vocab just not being suited for this kinda thing)

But, if I didn't completely misunderstand Yuriko at one point, she seemed to mention that she hoped Crocodile would remain in the position of an ally in the story (after having teamed up with Luffy during Impel Down), and like. Yuriko I love you, you so are so right

Hell yeah i love raúl ‼️‼️‼️ He is lowkey the reason why i watched hannibal in the first place. Like i am Notoriously Bad at watching stuff when i mean to, i was saying that i should get into hannibal for YEARS before i actually did and in the end all it took was catching a glimpse of raúl esparzas beautiful face on my tv during those eternal law and order svu reruns for me to a. become obsessed with him in svu, b. google him -> find out that he has a long history of working on broadway/musicals, c. watch company because of him -> become obsessed with company the musical and finally d. watch hannibal. This man single-handedly revived my middle school musical theater obsession AND turned me into a hannibal enthusiast. I literally watched 6 seasons of law and order for his sake.

she settles her hands around his waist and smiles beneath her helmet. “I’m good.”

they ride. joel keeps their speed on the slower side as ellie gets comfortable. he has to remind her once (or twice) don’ hug me too tight with a brief hand over hers as she loosens her grip (joel turned and leaned farther to the side than ellie was expecting). he speeds up after a while, the sleeves of her sweatshirt and the hair sticking out of her helmet blowing every direction

once they’re back home, ellie excitedly hops off when joel says it’s safe to and she whips her helmet off, joel parking the motorcycle beside their house.

her helmet comes off and some of her hair sticks up, joel laughing and smoothing it over. “Have fun?”

“Fuck yeah! You gotta teach me, joel! Can we do a wheelie next time?”

“No, you are not learning,” he says, hand still on her head.

she looks up at him, a clever smirk on her lips. “…so we can do a wheelie next time?”

joel sighs and closes his eyes. He brings his hand to back of her neck and leans over to kiss her hairline before pulling back to look at her. “No.”
